Whether you’re an experienced butcher, an aspiring meat specialist, or a proven leader ready to take the next step, we have opportunities for you: Butchery Manager Butcher Meat Counter Assistant When you apply, simply let us know which role you’re interested in. About the Roles Our butchery counters are at the heart of our stores, offering high-quality products and expert advice to our customers. As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in delivering excellent service and maintaining the highest standards. Butchery Manager 39 Hours £36,965.16 Lead and inspire your team while overseeing the day-to-day running of the counter. You’ll manage stock, rotas, and standards, ensuring a first-class customer experience. Butcher 39 Hours £30,291.16 Use your skills and experience to prepare and present high-quality meat products, maintain food safety standards, and provide knowledgeable service to customers. Meat Counter Assistant 39 Hours £12.75 per hour (21+) Perfect if you’re looking to learn a new skill! You’ll support the team with preparing products, serving customers, and keeping the counter looking its best – with full training provided. A Few Things about You We’re looking for people who are: Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused Enthusiastic and motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude Team players who take pride in their work Flexible in their approach to working hours For Butcher & Manager roles: Previous butchery experience is essential Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) standards For Manager role: Experience leading or supervising a team Why Join Us?
