Butcher/Skilled Knife Hand
Role title Butcher / Skilled Knife Operative / Trainee Butcher (Days) Salary: £13.86 per hour Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (6am–6pm) Location: Huntingdon
About the Role
We’re seeking a Butcher for our team. Your responsibilities will include the following, always maintaining the highest standards:
- Processing product to meet quality targets
- Achieving optimal yield levels
- Collaborating closely with the Team Leader to:
- Spot and address operational issues
- Identify opportunities for process improvement
We welcome any aspiring butchers and are happy to provide further training if you demonstrate dedication and enthusiasm.

Requirements
Success in this role requires the following experience or expertise:
- Ideally: Previous experience as a Butcher (direct scenarios or apprentice roles would be beneficial)
- Critical: A genuine passion for and deep understanding of health & safety (H&S) regulations—current compliance must be prioritised
