Butler
Butler (Front Office) – 39 Hours, 5 Days Per Week

We’re seeking a Butler to join the Front Office team at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London’s most iconic luxury address.

Roles within the team operate on a rotating shift basis (Monday–Sunday), covering mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Flexibility is essential.
Key Responsibilities
As a Butler at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, your responsibilities include:
- Serving as the primary point of contact for suite guests throughout their stay, ensuring their comfort and preferences are met.
- Facilitating all guest requests and maintaining records of personalised preferences, coordinating effectively with other departments (e.g., Housekeeping, Concierge, Catering).
- Greeting guests on arrival for introductions and guiding them to their suites.
- Ensuring all guest suites are prepared with amenities and pre-set preferences upon arrival.
- Upholding the highest standards of luxury service, anticipating needs before they are expressed.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you must:
- Have proven experience in high-end luxury hospitality, ideally in guest-facing or front-of-house roles.
- Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, with fluent verbal and written English.
- Multitask efficiently, balancing multiple requests while maintaining precision and discretion.
- Be proficient in Microsoft Office (prior system training an advantage).
- Embrace a proactive, detail-oriented approach with genuine passion for guest service.
- Must be eligible to work in the UK, with evidence of work rights provided during recruitment.
