Butler
BUTLER, FRONT OFFICE

We’re looking for a Butler to join our Front Office team.

As a Butler, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and evening shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.
To be a successful Butler, you must have excellent communication skills with a high level of verbal and written English. The ability to multitask and competency of Microsoft Office is essential. Prior knowledge with systems is ideal.
As a Butler at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, you will be responsible for:
- To be the main contact for all Suite guests during their stay
- Facilitating all requests and keeping a record of preferences from the Suite guests by effectively communicating with other departments
- Greeting guests upon arrival for introduction and rooming
- Ensuring that all Suites are ready with the amenities and known preferences set up on arrival
To be a successful Butler, you will have previous experience working in a high-end luxury environment in a customer/guest facing role. You will be an excellent communicator, with a proactive approach and an eye for detail.
