Exciting Opportunity: Buyer Wanted in Bracknell, UK!
Salary: £36,000 to £39,000 per annum
Are you passionate about supply chain management and ready to take your career to the next level? Our client, a leading organisation in their industry, is looking for a dynamic Buyer to join their team in Bracknell! This is your chance to make a significant impact while working in a collaborative and innovative environment.
Your Role
As a Buyer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of purchasing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Order Management: Placing and authorising purchase orders within assigned limits, while expediting orders and tracking deliveries.
- Inventory Oversight: Maintaining inventory availability and minimising working capital investment.
- Decision Making: Executing stock replenishment, special orders, and drop ship buying, always making cost-effective buying decisions.
- Communication: Ensuring accurate purchase order quantities, costs, and terms compliance, while effectively communicating with suppliers and internal departments.
- Problem Resolution: Addressing shipping errors and following up on order statuses to ensure timely delivery.
- Supplier Performance: Assisting in evaluating supplier performance based on delivery, fill rates, and other key metrics.

The Ideal Candidate
- 2-3 years of purchasing experience within a supply chain environment.
- Strong knowledge of purchasing and inventory concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, alongside strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in analytical skills and computer systems, including Excel and Power BI.
