📍 Crawley, West Sussex (On-site) 💼 Initial 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract
Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a well-established business based in Crawley to recruit a Buyer on a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced purchasing or supply chain professional to join a fast-paced environment focused on inventory management, forecasting, supplier coordination, and stock optimisation. There is a strong possibility that the role will convert into a permanent position at the end of the contract, making this an excellent long-term opportunity.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage inventory levels to maximise stock availability and minimise shortages
- Analyse sales trends and forecasts to support purchasing decisions
- Raise purchase orders and manage supplier deliveries
- Build strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners
- Support new product launches and lifecycle management activities
- Monitor inbound shipments and proactively resolve supply chain issues

About You
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory planning, or supply chain roles
- Strong Excel skills, with Power BI experience advantageous
- Experience working within a distribution, wholesale, or B2B environment
- Organised, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
