About the Role
Our client, a leading automotive manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Buyer to join their growing organisation. The successful candidate will have experience working within the manufacturing industry, in a fast-paced procurement role, dealing with many suppliers and commodities.
The role focuses on direct purchasing and sits within the Bought-Out Parts category, covering a wide range of commodities including films, foams, tapes, clips, coatings, stampings, fasteners, fixings and surface treatments.

Job Details
- Position: Buyer
- Type: Permanent
- Salary: Dependent on experience
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am – 2pm
- Location: Minworth – Site based
Responsibilities
- Day to day commercial management of the supplier base
- Negotiate prices and contract terms
- Manage RFQ to SOP, including NPI
- Manage supplier delivery issues /negotiate claims

- Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
- Previously worked within the manufacturing industry, automotive is highly desirable
- Well versed working in a Buyer role or similar
- Experienced working within a fast-paced environment
