About the Team

We’re looking for a talented Buyer to join our Fragrance & Personal Care team on a permanent basis.

Beauty is one of our most exciting and fast-growing categories, and this role offers the opportunity to:

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a growing Beauty category.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Buying Manager and Merchandising team to develop and deliver:
    • Category strategies
    • Range plans
    • Pricing architecture
    • Promotional activity driving sales and profit
  • Own category performance, analysing in-week and monthly trading data to:
    • Identify opportunities
    • Mitigate risks
    • Make tailored recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic brand partners, including:
    • Leading annual Joint Business Planning (JBP) discussions
    • Negotiating best commercial terms (funding, markdowns, etc.)
  • Identify, onboard, and develop new brands that align with our Beauty strategy and enhance customer value.
  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to deliver:
    • Brand campaigns
    • Product launches
    • Paid media activity that boosts awareness and conversion
  • Monitor market trends, customer behaviours, and competitors, using insights to:
    • Influence category direction
    • Unlock new growth opportunities
  • Lead, coach, and develop teams, fostering an environment where everyone thrives.

About You

We’re looking for a commercially driven Buyer with:

  • Strong Beauty category expertise (ideally fragrance, personal care, or adjacent sectors)
  • Past Buyer-level experience in Beauty or retail (or adjacent retail몰section SEO metadata함)
  • Deep understanding of the Beauty market, customer trends, and industry dynamics
  • Proven ability to build and manage supplier/brand relationships
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills with a track record of win-win commercial outcomes
  • Balanced foresight: Strategic thinking + hands-on delivery
  • Ability to analyse performance data and drive actionable insights
  • Experience leading high-performing teams
  • Proactive, solutions-focused mindset and resilience for a fast-moving trading environment
