The Buyer, for Jewellery supports QVC UK and leads the sourcing, buying and merchandising of the jewellery and accessories product portfolio to drive sales, margin and customer excitement across an omni-channel environment.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at Chiswick Park, West London two days a week.
What You'll Do
Source, select and secure a clearly positioned and differentiated Jewellery product portfolio that supports long-term brand strategy, target customer needs and commercial objectives. Negotiate the best possible cost prices and trading terms with suppliers, while building strong vendor relationships to deliver innovation, quality and value. Partner closely with Planning, Category Merchandising, Digital and cross-functional teams to review performance, optimise inventory and grow the category across multiple channels. Develop short- and long-term product and brand strategies for Jewellery, ensuring pricing, assortment and promotional plans align with category targets and market trends. Oversee the critical path for key launches, campaigns, events and hero products, ensuring strong execution and accurate delivery. Regularly analyse sales, margin, inventory, vendor performance and market conditions to make informed buying decisions and drive continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with suppliers to develop new concepts and product opportunities, while maintaining quality standards and supporting QVC’s long-term commercial goals. Travel as needed for trade shows, supplier meetings and industry events to identify trends, strengthen partnerships and bring fresh ideas into the category.

What You'll Bring
Proven experience in a Buyer or comparable commercial buying role, with strong expertise in Jewellery and a solid understanding of customer, product and market trends. An understanding of Weights, Gems and Metals would be a benefit Strong commercial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage key performance indicators including sales, margin, inventory and vendor performance. Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and supplier management skills, with the confidence to influence internal and external stakeholders. Experience developing assortments, product strategies and pricing plans within a fast-paced retail, omni-channel or multi-channel environment. High levels of initiative, sound decision-making and the ability to prioritise effectively under pressure.
