At AluK

At AluK, we're passionate about creating innovative aluminium window, door and façade systems that help shape homes and buildings across the UK and beyond. Behind every product is a complex supply chain, strong supplier partnerships and a team of people who ensure the right materials are available at the right time—and that's where you come in.

We're looking for a proactive and commercially minded Buyer to join our Supply Chain & Procurement team.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships and supporting new product introductions within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure our procurement activities support operational excellence while identifying opportunities to improve quality, cost and service.

If you're looking for a varied procurement role where you can make a real impact and continue developing your career, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be doing

Procurement

  • Source materials and suppliers to support business requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to improve service, responsiveness and collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and cost avoidance through sourcing, negotiation and supplier development.
  • Maintain accurate supplier, material and pricing information within our ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ensure procurement records, quotations, contracts and supplier documentation remain accurate and compliant.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
