Buyers Admin – Mens & Womens Bodywear (12-month FTC)
About the Role
As Buyers Admin, you will provide administrative support to the Buying teams, ensuring smooth operations across inventory, orders, and supplier interactions.
Responsibilities

Relationship Management:
- Serve as the first point of contact between suppliers, warehouses, and Buyers for:
- Booking deliveries
- Adjusting delivery schedules and managing order amendments
- Liaising with shoplor teams

System & Data Management:
- Upload buyers' worksheets and create SKUs in Retek, flagging gaps for improvement
- Load orders onto the system accurately and promptly upon receipt
- Set up, monitor, and optimise delivery schedules, including checking deadlines and highlighting issues to the Buying team

Order & Supplier Coordination:
- Verify vendor order confirmations and chase outstanding confirmation notes
- Resolve delivery centre (DC) queries (e.g., mismatched delivery notes) to prevent stock stagnation
- Update and maintain trade/settlement discount terms in databases
- Establish new supplier accounts
- Ensure pre-ticketing requests are forwarded to suppliers

Content & Inventory Accuracy:
- Update SKU, category hierarchies, barcodes, and supporting information
- Oversee sample provision for photostudio digital photo shoots

Sample & Training Liaison:
- Organise shop floor customer sampling and retail training sessions with suppliers
- Distribute daily reports to concessions and internal teams

- Being present on the shop floor, including for seasonal photo shoots and training walks, while acting as a trusted, respected colleague.
