We are looking for – Buyers Admin Assistant

The Team

As a Buying Assistant you will work closely with the buying team and global brands to support the delivery of wider business goals. You will play an important role in enabling the best-in-class brands and product relevant to our target consumer are present across the Footasylum estate and Ecommerce sites therefore it is important you have a strong passion for footwear with an understanding of wider market fashion trends.

Responsibilities

  • Produce weekly trade reports to update internal teams and external brand partners on performance, opportunities and risks.
  • Create look books and alignment documents to support cross-department communication and ensure consistency across the business.
  • Conduct ongoing trend and market analysis through retail visits, competitor reviews and research trips to identify emerging styles and commercial opportunities.
  • Attend brand meetings to gain insight into upcoming product focuses, seasonal direction and range opportunities.
  • Manage sample ordering for key product lines and collaborate with marketing to ensure strong go-to-market execution.
  • Monitor social media platforms to spot early trends relevant to the target demographic and present findings to the team.
  • Create visual documents to support order sign-off processes and clearly showcase the proposed range.

Skills/Experience

  • Excellent relationship-building skills with internal teams and external brand partners, fostering strong collaboration and communication.
  • Passion for footwear and fashion trends with a deep interest in the wider sportswear and high-street market.
  • Forward-thinking and reactive mindset, able to respond quickly to market shifts to keep the brand competitive and relevant to consumer demand.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills with the ability to interpret data and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excel and Power BI knowledge considered an advantage for reporting, analysis and data-driven decision-making.
