Buying Admin Assistant

Leeds | Full Time | Office-Based

At Moda in Pelle, we're passionate about creating stylish, high-quality footwear that our customers love. We're looking for an organised, proactive and enthusiastic Buying Admin Assistant to join our Buying team at our Head Office in Leeds.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build a career in buying. You'll gain hands-on experience working alongside our Buyers, Designers and QA team, supporting the development of our collections from concept through to launch while learning every aspect of the buying process.

What you'll be doing

  • Supporting the Buying, Design and QA teams with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Tracking, logging and organising development and production samples.
  • Preparing samples and paperwork for fit sessions and approval meetings.
  • Updating internal systems with product information, prices and supplier comments.
  • Raising purchase orders and ensuring product specifications are accurate.
  • Chasing samples and monitoring the critical path to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Coordinating sample shipments with international suppliers.
  • Supporting Monday trade meetings by preparing reports and product samples.
  • Carrying out competitor and market research.
  • Working closely with our Creative team to ensure the correct samples are available for photography.
  • Keeping the Buying department and sample rooms organised and running efficiently.

What we are looking for

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Passionate about fashion, footwear and product.
  • A confident communicator who enjoys working with people.
  • Proactive and eager to learn.
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Previous administration experience is desirable, although not essential.
