Our client is a leading buying and marketing group supporting major wholesalers across the marketplace. They are looking for a highly organised Buying Assistant to join their Buying Team and help drive group-wide range strategies.

The Role

You will provide vital administrative support to ensure the smooth execution of buying, pricing, and promotional activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate pricing, product, and promotional data on the group intranet.
  • Assist with price changes, forecasts, supply issues, and contract approvals.
  • Coordinate the tender process and update monthly promotion documents, including market analysis.
  • Collate weekly newsletters, prepare board meeting documents, and manage relationships with member companies.
  • Manage travel arrangements and attend occasional group events (including overnight stays).

  • At least 2 years of commercial administrative experience.
