About the team

We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Assistant (Buyers Admin Assistant) on our Leisure department. You'll report into the Junior Buyer for the area, so lots of opportunity to further develop your skills and progress in role.

You will joining a collaborative and fast-paced buying team where ideas are valued and initiative is encouraged. The team is small, so good communication skills are imperative as you support the team in bringing exciting products to market, managing supplier information, and ensuring everything runs smoothly behind the scenes. You'll gain insight into category management, supplier relationships and pricing while developing the organisational skills, commercial knowledge and experience, all of which are essential for a successful career in buying.

About the role

Day to day you will have an understanding of the category critical path and supply chain, whilst undertaking administrative support for the buying function. You will be responsible for sample management and maintaining the sample library.
