The Opportunity
As BWS Finance Lead, you'll be a trusted partner to senior business leaders, shaping commercial strategy and influencing decisions that impact revenue, profitability, cash performance, and long-term growth. You'll lead a team of finance professionals while providing insight and challenge that helps the business perform at its best.
Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role offers flexibility in location, with travel to our London office at Nova North, Victoria required. Working within our Business and Wholesale Services Finance team, you'll help support EDF's journey towards An Electric Britain. From leading the four-year financial plan to driving finance transformation through automation, robotics and AI, you'll have the opportunity to influence business outcomes, develop people, and help shape the future of finance across EDF.

- Leading a Finance Business Partnering function within a complex commercial organisation
- Operating as a fully qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience at senior leadership level
- Influencing senior stakeholders to support commercial and strategic decision-making
- Leading and developing high-performing finance teams, including senior managers
- Delivering financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance management across large-scale business operations
- Driving finance transformation initiatives involving automation, robotics, and AI
- Managing multiple and diverse stakeholder requirements within fast-paced environments
- Interpreting market dynamics and complex industry developments to assess financial impact
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading Finance Business Partnering activity for the Business and Wholesale Services business unit
- Owning gross margin, operating expenditure, forecasting, reporting, and financial performance insight
- Partnering with senior leaders to shape strategy, optimise performance, and drive value creation
- Leading the development and delivery of medium-term financial plans and transformation initiatives
- Building and developing a high-performing finance team while embedding a culture of continuous improvement
