C# Backend Software Engineer - hiring all levels (grad-senior)
Job Title: Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET) Location: Newcastle Company: Consultancy Salary: Up to 130k (depending on experience)
Platform Recruitment has partnered with a high-calibre consultancy that is growing rapidly and building out new sectors.
This is a high-calibre team with a high bar for engineering excellence. You'll take on real ownership early and work alongside strong engineers working on complex distributed systems.
They are looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer with deep expertise across C#/.NET and modern frontend technologies. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a division within the consultancy, with significant scope for progression and leadership.

The Role Work closely with stakeholders to understand technical challenges and deliver scalable software solutions Design, build, test, and maintain modern full stack applications Lead greenfield development projects from architecture through to deployment Collaborate directly with client engineering teams Build high-performance, mission-critical software platforms Play a key role in shaping and growing the engineering team

Requirements Excellent experience with C#/.NET and backend system design Experience building modern frontend applications using technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure, and scalable application architecture Comfortable working in a consultancy environment across different clients and projects Ability to work across the full software development lifecycle Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
