C# FX Options Pricing Developer

6 Month Contract | London (Hybrid) | Umbrella Engagement

We are seeking an experienced FX Options Pricing Developer to join a front office technology team supporting a global FX trading business. This is a hands-on development role focused on the enhancement, maintenance, and support of critical FX options pricing and trading systems used by front office stakeholders.

This opportunity will suit a strong developer with a background in FX Options, who enjoys working directly with traders, quants, and business users in a fast-paced trading environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and support front office FX options pricing and trading applications
  • Deliver functional enhancements and technical improvements across the platform
  • Collaborate closely with traders, sales teams, quants, and technology stakeholders
  • Analyse business requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions
  • Investigate and resolve production issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure solutions are designed for high performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Contribute to software design, development, testing, and release activities
  • Take ownership of deliveries while working within a global technology team

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong commercial development experience with C# and C++
  • Proven experience working within Front Office FX Options technology environments
  • Experience developing pricing, risk, or trading applications
  • Strong knowledge of WinForms and/or WPF
  • Experience supporting business-critical trading systems
  • Ability to engage confidently with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
