Build Technician

Gaydon | Manufacturing

Join Aston Martin and help craft the world's most iconic sports cars.

At Aston Martin, we are driven by a passion for excellence, precision, and innovation. As a Build Technician based at our Gaydon manufacturing facility, you will play a vital role in the assembly and fitment of components at various stages of the production process, helping to bring our luxury performance vehicles to life.

Working as part of a dedicated manufacturing team and reporting to the Group Leader or Manager, you will be responsible for carrying out vehicle assembly activities in line with established processes and standards using the EASE system. You will ensure all work meets our exacting quality standards, complies with health and safety requirements, and is completed within the required production cycle times.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across quality, productivity, and manufacturing processes, while supporting lean manufacturing activities and maintaining high standards of workplace organisation and housekeeping. You will also be responsible for handling and storing controlled substances and components correctly and may be required to support other areas of the business as operational needs require.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
