C# Infrastructure Engineer — Data Pipelines (AI Training)

About The Role

What if your C# skills could directly shape the infrastructure behind the most advanced AI systems in the world? We're looking for a Senior C# Engineer to design and build the high-performance data pipelines, annotation tooling, and evaluation infrastructure that leading AI labs depend on to train and improve their models.

This is fully remote contract work on real production systems — not toy projects. You'll be embedded in workflows that matter, collaborating with data, research, and engineering teams at the frontier of AI development.

  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 20–40 hours/week

What You'll Do

  • Design, build, and optimize high-performance C# systems powering AI data pipelines and evaluation workflows
  • Develop full-stack tooling and backend services for large-scale data annotation, validation, and quality control
  • Improve reliability, performance, and safety across existing C# codebases
  • Collaborate with data, research, and engineering teams to support model training and evaluation workflows
  • Identify bottlenecks and edge cases in data and system behavior — then implement scalable fixes
  • Participate in synchronous design reviews to iterate on architecture and implementation decisions

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
