About the Role
As a C#.NET Developer with expertise in AWS cloud technologies and enterprise application development, you will collaborate with our client's technology team to develop, support and modernise a portfolio of web and desktop applications hosted on AWS. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality.NET solutions, supporting production environments, contributing to cloud modernisation initiatives and helping drive DevOps best practices.
Job Details
- Location: Glasgow
- Working Pattern: Hybrid – 2-3 days onsite per week
- Contract Duration: Until 31/12/2026
- Pay Rate: £400 per day
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test and maintain .NET applications.
- Support and enhance applications hosted on AWS.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Participate in deployments, environment management and production support activities.
- Contribute to application modernisation and cloud-native initiatives.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams on solution design and delivery.
- Monitor and support live applications to ensure performance and reliability.

Other Stuff We're Potentially Looking For
- Strong experience with C#,.NET Framework,.NET Core,.NET 6+, ASP.NET and SQL Server.
- Hands-on AWS experience including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudWatch and CloudFormation.
- Experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Kibana.
- Experience with Docker, ECS and AWS Fargate.
- Experience modernising or migrating.NET applications into containerised AWS environments.
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures and application modernisation projects.
