About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to help build the next generation of data-driven tools and infrastructure for our award-winning Accident Repair Network.
Our mission is clear: deliver bespoke technology that supports our teams in getting customers back on the road faster. Reporting to the Development Team Manager, you’ll work on Evolve—our cloud-hosted IT system—playing a fundamental role in our growth and success.
Responsibilities
- Develop & enhance Solus’ proprietary system (Evolve) in a cloud environment, primarily using C#, .NET, Azure DevOps, and Angular.
- Collaborate with the internal development team and our partner organisation’s developers to drive improvements.
- Build sustainable features using Microservices, APIs, backend systems, and databases hosted on Azure.
- Remove delivery blocks by working with Product Owners and adhering to Agile policies.
- Hold yourself accountable to Agile principles, acting as both a team contributor and role model.
- Offer technical guidance on Evolve’s architecture, ensuring UI/UX standards are met.
- Engage with insurers/industry peers through events and forums to foster knowledge-sharing.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
