About The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Developer to join our dynamic Development Team at Solus Accident Repair Centres. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to building and enhancing our next-generation data analysis tools and infrastructure that support our Award-Winning Accident Repair Network. Reporting directly to the Development Team Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and developing our bespoke IT system, Evolve, which is hosted within a cloud environment. Your work will directly impact our operational efficiency, customer experience, and overall business growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovative technology, thrive in an agile environment, and possess a strong background in software development using the Microsoft stack.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in software development with experience in the Microsoft technology stack. Familiarity with cloud services, particularly Azure, is essential. Experience working with C#, .NET, Angular, Entity Frameworks, and Azure DevOps will be highly advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work collaboratively in a team, and a proactive approach to learning and development. A background in developing web, mobile applications, APIs, and backend services is desirable. Additionally, familiarity with agile methodologies and a customer-focused mindset are important to succeed in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new products and features end-to-end using technologies such as C#,.NET, Angular, Entity Frameworks, and Azure DevOps, ensuring high quality and performance.
  • Collaborate closely with internal development teams and external partners to align development efforts and maximize business outcomes.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable web, mobile, API, backend, and database solutions hosted within Azure cloud environment.
  • Address and resolve delivery impediments by working in tandem with the Product Owner, following established policies and guidelines.
  • Live and promote agile values, principles, and practices, serving as a role model for the team.
  • Provide technical guidance on Evolve’s system design, ensuring the UI/UX meets user requirements and industry standards.
  • Engage with industry events, forums, and potential clients such as insurers to share learning and stay updated on industry trends.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
