About the job C# / .NET Engineer (Commodities / Derivatives) | £75k - £95k | London (Hybrid)
We’re looking for a strong C# / .NET Engineer to join a Back Office IT team within a financial markets environment. This role combines hands-on development with ownership of critical systems, supporting core operations while contributing to a broader data platform transformation.
What you’ll be doing: Supporting and enhancing existing back-office trading applications Designing and building backend solutions in C# / .NET Working closely with stakeholders across trading, risk, and operations Contributing to data platform initiatives (Azure Data Lake / Databricks) Maintaining and improving performance of production systems

What we’re looking for: 5–10 years’ experience as a C# / .NET Engineer (backend/server-side focus) Experience within financial markets, ideally with commodities or derivatives Experience supporting and maintaining production applications Exposure to Data Lakes and/or Databricks (Azure preferred) Exposure to Python or willingness to develop Python skills

The details: £75,000 – £895,000 (DoE) Central London office (3 days onsite) Hours: 8am–5pm
