C++ Software Engineer – High-Performance Trading Systems - London
A market-leading electronic trading firm is expanding its London engineering team and is looking for a highly experienced C++ Software Engineer to play a key role in the next phase of its growth. This is an opportunity to work at the heart of a globally used trading platform, where performance, precision, and reliability are critical. You’ll be building and optimising systems that execute high-volume trades in microseconds. Individuals with an interest in crypto trading should apply.
As a senior member of the team, you’ll help shape the evolution of a low-latency, high-throughput platform, working alongside a highly skilled engineering group in a business where technology is a core driver of success.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance the company's core software, which is a global electronic trading platform.
- Build new components and improve platform reliability and latency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams in Chicago, New York, and Singapore.
Required Skills:
- A degree in a STEM-related subject.
- Experience building software within the electronic trading domain.
- Experience within crypto trading is highly beneficial.
- At least 5 years of commercial C++ software engineering experience.
- Object-Oriented design and programming experience.
- Networking programming experience.
- Linux environment experience.
- Python Scripting experience - desirable.
- An interest in moving into quantitative development in the future.
