C# Software Engineer
This C# Software Engineer role sits at the heart of serious manufacturing automation. You’ll be building and improving software that talks directly to a wide range of real-world equipment including:
- Power supplies
- Acquisition systems
- Cameras
- Test hardware
With plenty of scope for developing skills in parallel processing, performance optimisation, and multithreading.
Scope of Work
The work is broad and hands-on, covering automation, databases, test and calibration workflows, with potential exposure to machine learning and emerging AI where it adds value.

If you are a C# Software Engineer who enjoys having your hands in multiple areas and working on end-to-end systems rather than a narrow slice of software, this role offers real technical depth and variety.
Required Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of C# development experience
- Experience with WPF (or closely related UI frameworks)
- Transitioning to WinUI 3 is part of the stack
- Experience interfacing software with hardware or test equipment
- Ability to work with and improve existing codebases

Desirable Skills
- WinUI 3 proficiency (preferred for UI development)
- Knowledge/experience with C/C++
- Work in LabVIEW environments
- Exposure to manufacturing or production test environments
- Familiarity with jigs, fixtures, and tooling
- Experience in automation, multithreading, or performance optimisation
- Work with databases or calibration/test workflows
Salary & Benefits
- £45–60k plus benefits
