C# Software Engineer (Colchester) – World-Class Metrology & Inspection Systems

Right to work in the UK without sponsorship is essential for this vacancy.

An exciting opportunity exists for a C# Software Engineer with a global leader in world-class metrology equipment and inspection systems, based in Colchester.

About the Role

As a C# Software Engineer, you will be integral to the design, development, maintenance, and documentation of machine control software for inspection and testing systems. Working closely with on-site engineering and hardware teams, you will:

  • Solve complex hardware-software interactions
  • Develop innovative solutions for inspection technologies
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of industry-leading systems

Key Responsibilities & Requirements

Essential Experience

  • Strong C# development skills with expertise in multi-threaded environments
  • Proficiency in Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD)
