C# Software Engineer (Remote, Part-Time) – £22–£28 per Hour

About the Role

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled C# Software Engineer to join their growing development team on a part-time remote basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced developer looking for flexible working while contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of business-critical software applications.

You'll work alongside experienced software engineers on modern.NET applications, delivering high-quality, scalable, and secure solutions.

Job Details

  • Location: Remote
  • Salary: £22–£28 per hour
  • Hours: Part-Time (20–25 hours per week)
  • Job Type: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain C#/.NET applications.
  • Develop new software features and enhance existing systems.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software issues.
  • Develop and optimise SQL Server databases and queries.
  • Participate in code reviews and software testing.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions.
  • Support system integration and deployment activities.
  • Follow software development best practices and coding standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience developing applications using C# and.NET.
  • Knowledge of ASP.NET,.NET Core, or .NET Framework.
  • Experience with SQL Server and database development.
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web services.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with Azure, Entity Framework, Blazor, or Azure DevOps is advantageous.
