Key Responsibilities

Your role as a Shift Engineer will include:

  • Installation, preparation, splicing, and testing of single-mode and multimode optic fibre.
  • Testing and labelling all cable installations.
  • Adhering to a shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off (12-hour night/day shifts).

Requirements

To be considered, you must have:

  • Experience with fusion splicing, copper termination, and testing/fault-finding across all cable types.
  • Prior experience within the Telecommunications or Data Centre industry.
  • A City & Guilds qualification.
