Competitive Salary + Benefits

Role Type:

Role ID:

Shape the Future of Digital Engineering

At Babcock, we’re working to create a safe and secure world, together. If you join us, you can play your part as a CAD Integration Manager at any of our main UK locations including London, Warrington, Bristol, Devonport, Leicester, Rosyth and Portsmouth.

This is an exciting opportunity to join Babcock’s Global Engineering Team and help transform the way engineering data is managed, integrated and shared across a global organisation. You'll play a critical role in connecting CAD technologies with our Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) platform, ensuring design information remains secure, traceable and ready to support some of the world's most important defence, aerospace and engineering programmes.

The role

As CAD Integration Manager, you’ll lead the integration of enterprise CAD tools into Babcock’s global engineering environment. You'll help establish consistent digital engineering standards, drive innovation and enable engineers across multiple projects and locations to collaborate more effectively.

This is a highly visible role where your expertise will directly influence how engineering data is created, managed and reused throughout the product lifecycle. Working alongside technical specialists, engineers and digital transformation teams, you'll help deliver solutions that support national security, critical infrastructure and future engineering capability.

Day-to-day, you will be responsible for:

  • Integrating enterprise CAD tools with Babcock’s global Product Lifecycle Management platform.
  • Driving the adoption of standardised engineering data management processes and workflows.
  • Supporting design data integrity, traceability and configuration management across programmes.
  • Collaborating with engineering, digital and technical stakeholders to optimise CAD and PLM capabilities.
  • Leading continuous improvements that enhance engineering efficiency, data reuse and digital engineering maturity.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
