CAD Manager
Location: Chepeltown, Sheffield (office-based)
Salary: £30,000 plus
The opportunity
The CAD Manager is a key member of the Business Management Team, ensuring drawings are consistently delivered to our exacting standards. Business growth will be addressed with the management team.
The primary drivers of the role are to deliver a quality service to suit the client and our own business needs. In addition, monitor back office staff development, performance, and customer service. This role is a key position for driving Electrical Compliance through; growth, quality, customer focus, and communicating essential business information through effective leadership.
What you’ll be doing
- Producing and updating electrical circuit drawings using AutoCAD 2D
- Working closely with CAD Engineers to keep drawings accurate and up to date
- Working with the General Reports Manager to ensure that CAD team members are trained and equipped to undertake their roles effectively and efficiently.
- Working closely with the members of the CAD team to ensure that KPI’s are met.

What We’re Looking For
This role is all about potential. You might be right for us if you have:
- A positive, “roll-your-sleeves-up” attitude
- A genuine interest in technical or electrical work
- The ability to pick things up quickly and enjoy learning on the job
- An excellent supervisor of people including effective performance management
Nice to have:
- Some exposure to AutoCAD
- College studies in electrical engineering or a related subject
- Focus and drive to achieve targets and results.
