Payout: $30 - $100/hour
Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a CAD Data Generation & Validation Specialist (FreeCAD) to work on a contract basis. The role involves generating and validating CAD data using FreeCAD, ensuring accuracy and adherence to specifications. Responsibilities include creating 3D models and technical drawings from provided specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate precise 3D CAD models and assemblies using FreeCAD based on detailed engineering specifications.
- Validate CAD data for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
- Modify existing CAD models and drawings to incorporate design changes or updates.
- Perform quality checks on generated CAD data to ensure consistency and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve design discrepancies and improve model accuracy.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in FreeCAD for 3D modeling, assembly creation, and technical drawing generation.
- Strong understanding of CAD data validation processes and industry standards.
- Experience in creating and modifying 3D models and assemblies from engineering specifications.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints to generate accurate CAD data.
- Familiarity with CAD file formats and data exchange protocols.
