Join the Team at Premcrete
Premcrete is a leading specialist in waterproofing, damp proofing, ground gas protection and structural protection systems. We work on a diverse range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects across the UK, delivering technically robust and practical design solutions.
We are looking for a motivated 2D CAD Technician to join our growing technical team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD skills who enjoys producing high-quality technical drawings and wants to develop expertise within the construction and waterproofing industry.
The Role
Working closely with our Technical Design Team, you will be responsible for producing detailed CAD drawings that support our waterproofing, damp proofing and ground gas protection designs.
Your drawings will form an integral part of construction packages issued to contractors, architects and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate General Arrangement (GA) drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop waterproofing, damp proofing and ground gas protection layouts from architectural and structural drawings.
- Prepare construction details, sections and typical details for project-specific solutions.
- Amend and revise drawings in accordance with engineer and client comments.
- Coordinate drawing information with architects, structural engineers and contractors.
- Maintain drawing registers and ensure documentation is accurately controlled.
- Assist in developing and maintaining Premcrete's library of standard details and CAD templates.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and current industry guidance.

About You
We're looking for someone who has:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential).
- Experience producing 2D technical drawings within construction, architecture or civil engineering.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
- The ability to interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a collaborative technical team.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Someone who is able to start early Q4
