CAD Designer

Location: Halifax
Salary: £30-35k + Benefits

About the Role

My client is the UK's leading garage equipment provider, delivering installation, maintenance, repair, and sales solutions to a wide range of customers including fast-fit centres, franchised dealerships, independent garages, and commercial fleet operators.

As the business continues to grow, they are looking for a talented CAD Designer to join their established Design team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong AutoCAD experience who enjoys producing accurate technical drawings while working closely with Sales, Project Managers, customers, and contractors to deliver high-quality workshop installation projects.

The Role

As a CAD Designer, you will be responsible for producing detailed workshop layout drawings and technical designs that meet customer requirements, project specifications, and industry compliance standards.

Working as part of a collaborative team, you'll transform sales concepts and rough sketches into professional, accurate installation drawings, helping to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standard.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
