The Role

We are looking for a creative, data-driven, and passionate Social Media and Website Manager to lead Cadbury's digital presence across the UK and Ireland. You will be responsible for developing and executing a best-in-class social media strategy and managing the Cadbury UK & Ireland website, ensuring a seamless and engaging consumer experience across all digital touchpoints. Key Responsibilities

Social Media Management

  • Own and execute Cadbury's social media strategy across all key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest) for the UK & Ireland market
  • Plan, create, and publish compelling, on-brand content that drives engagement, brand love, and community growth
  • Manage the social media content budget and calendar, ensuring alignment with seasonal campaigns, product launches, and key cultural moments
  • Monitor, respond to, and engage with the Cadbury community, fostering meaningful two-way conversations
  • Collaborate with creative agencies, influencers, and content creators to develop high-quality assets
  • Utilise local and global tools to review, assess and approve influencer plans across Cadbury brands and campaigns
  • Collaborate with Consumer Experience team and media agency on paid social strategy to amplify key campaigns
  • Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, and best practices

Website Management

  • Own and manage the Cadbury UK & Ireland website strategy and budget (cadbury.co.uk), ensuring content is accurate, up to date, and optimised for user experience
  • Work with the digital development team and agencies to plan and implement website improvements, new features, and seasonal updates
  • Manage the content management system (CMS) to publish and update product pages, campaign landing pages, recipes, and editorial content
  • Monitor website performance using analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics) and provide regular reporting with actionable insights
  • Ensure SEO best practices are applied across all website content to drive organic traffic growth
  • Oversee the website's accessibility standards and compliance with relevant regulations

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyse, and report on social media and website KPIs, including reach, engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics
  • Use data and consumer insights to continuously optimise content strategy and digital performance
  • Present monthly performance reports to key stakeholders, with clear recommendations for improvement

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the wider Cadbury marketing team and global digital teams to ensure consistency and alignment
  • Partner with the eCommerce team to support digital shelf and direct-to-consumer initiatives
  • Brief and manage external agencies and freelancers as required

About You

Essential Skills & Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management and/or digital marketing, ideally within an FMCG, retail, or consumer brand environment
  • Proven track record of growing and engaging social media audiences across multiple platforms
  • Strong copywriting skills with the ability to adapt tone of voice for different platforms and audiences
  • Experience managing a brand website and familiarity with CMS tools beneficial
  • Proficiency in social media management tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Sprout Social)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using Google Analytics or similar tools
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • A genuine passion for digital trends, social media, and consumer culture

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Experience working with or managing influencer partnerships
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and best practices
  • Experience with paid social media advertising
  • Familiarity with the confectionery, food, or FMCG sector
