Cafe Chef
Chef with Hospitality Experience (Tesco Café)
About the Role
We’re seeking a passionate Chef with strong hospitality experience to join our fast-paced café team. Your focus? Preparing and delivering high-quality food that keeps customers delighted—ready to come back time and again.
You’ll thrive in a dynamic café environment where every detail matters, from food safety and hygiene to reducing waste. Your teamwork, creativity, and commitment to exceptional service will help Tesco Cafés constantly exceed customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
While day-to-day tasks may evolve with Tesco’s needs, core duties include:
- Ensuring food preparation and storage comply with safety and hygiene regulations
- Delivering quick, high-quality meals to meet customer demand—our star rule: no compromise on standards or portion accuracy!
- Driving operational improvements to enhance service for both customers and staff
- Adhering to health & safety policies, auditing processes, and promoting compliance
- Aligning work with Tesco’s service standards to maintain consistency across all cafés

Requirements
To succeed, you’ll need:
- Hospitality experience, ideally in a fast-paced kitchen or café setting
- Resilience in high-pressure environments, proving you stay productive under demand
