About the Role

Position Summary
As a Cafe Chef, you’ll prepare high-quality hot and cold meals for an average of 350 covers per day, covering breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go hospitality.
Your daily duties include:
- Serving a mix of street food, traditional meals, and quick bites—appealing to a young working audience.
- Supporting a small, friendly team of 5, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Assisting with staff management and due diligence under the General Manager’s supervision.
- Bringing fresh ideas to the table to enhance menu innovation and elevate service standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage hot & cold meal preparation for up to 350 clients daily, including:
- Breakfast, lunch menus, and impromptu orders
- Grab-and-go items, seasonal specials, and traditional dishes
- Serve a street-food-inspired influence while maintaining polished, professional hospitality standards.
- Staff coordination—supporting a small team of 5 with a learner/mentor dynamic.
- Maintain kitchen efficiency, food safety, and *stock management.
- Innovate & upskill—your ideas can shape how we evolve meals and service.
- Ensure a fast-paced, friendly, and injury-free working environment.

Person Specification
Experience & Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in commercial kitchens or hospitality, demonstrating:
- Strong teamwork in busy environments
- Ability to multitask efficiently while delivering excellence
- Creative problem-solving for inventory, menus, or unexpected changes
- Prior experience in call-centre or fast-moving hospitality spaces is beneficial.
Skills & Mindset
- Food passion—Enjoyment in meal prep, presentation, or kitchen originality.
- Attention to detail—Balancing speed with quality under pressure.
- Big personality—Your energy and positivity contribute to the team culture.
- Flexibility & positivity—Calling centre hours demand adaptability while staying handsome & fast.
- Training mindset—Willingness to upskill and mentor junior staff.
Desired Experience
- Prior call centre operations experience (not always required, but an asset to our environment).
- Health & Safety Audit knowledge (preferred, as food safety standards are critical).

What You’ll Get Back
Compensation
- Annual Salary: £32,000 (starting points beginning at £32,000) (Note: Slight salary offer mentioned across juniors and mid-tier roles as ₹3,2000–₹3,300/month. Ultimately, actual pay rollout specifics vary—we suggest communicating €32,000 before onboarding under GB guidelines.)
- Potential for rapid progression to £42,000+ as a Chef Manager in 1-2 years.
