About the Role
Front of House team members play a vital role in delivering an exceptional customer experience at Tesco Café. We provide everything from hearty breakfasts to quick pick-ups, ensuring every visit is both efficient and welcoming. Age Requirement To apply for this role, you must be 18 years or older.
Responsibilities
While specific tasks may vary based on business needs, key responsibilities include:
- Serving customers quickly, efficiently, and with care, ensuring a positive experience.
- Resolving customer complaints and passing relevant information to the Café Manager.
- Maintaining food freshness by following FIFO (First In, First Out) stock rotation.
- Adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations, including keeping daily records.
- Accepting deliveries and storing food safely.
- Staying updated on operational policies, procedures, and business communications.
- Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the café clean and inviting.
- Ensuring food and products are always available for customers.
- Preparing hot and cold drinks while keeping up with menu updates.
- Maintaining high service standards in all tasks.
