Cafe Manager

Café Manager – New Concept Café & Culture Space

Location: Mere, Cheshire Position: Full-time Salary: From £28,000 – £32,000+ (Bonus depending on experience)

Flora’s is more than a café. It’s a beautifully designed destination blending exceptional specialty coffee, wellness drinks, seasonal food, culture, creativity, and community into a unique experience.

By day, guests enjoy world-class coffee, matcha, botanical drinks, inspiring conversations, and a welcoming atmosphere. The evolving space will also host intimate events, community gatherings, and creative experiences that bring people together.

We’re seeking an ambitious, hands-on Café Manager to join us during the launch and help shape this vision from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to build a brand-new venue, develop an outstanding team, and create a culture that both guests and employees love being part of.


Your Mission

Lead the Launch

  • Work closely with ownership to prepare the venue for opening
  • Help establish operational systems, processes, and standards
  • Deliver a successful and memorable launch experience

Build an Outstanding Team

Deliver Exceptional Experiences

  • Oversee daily café operations
  • Ensure consistently high standards in service, food, and beverages

Drive Commercial Success

  • Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
  • Control labor costs and maximize profitability
  • Monitor performance and identify growth opportunities

Become Part of the Community

  • Help build local awareness and excitement around the brand
  • Develop relationships with regular customers and businesses
  • Support events, activations, and community initiatives to bring the space to life

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a premium café, coffee shop, or hospitality setting
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in motivating and developing teams
  • Commercially minded, with knowledge of stock management, labor control, and gross profit (GP) performance
  • Passion for exceptional coffee, hospitality, and customer experience
  • High-energy, warm personality with natural hosting ability
  • Adaptable, proactive, comfortable working in a growing business
  • Excited by the opportunity to build something new from the ground up
  • Reliable transportation due to country-side location
