Café Manager – Full-Time (ASDA Blyth)

Location: ASDA Blyth

Contract: Full-time

Employer: Compass Group UK & Ireland

We’re recruiting for a Café Manager to lead our catering operation at ASDA Blyth. Ideal for someone with leadership potential, a customer-first attitude, and the drive to excel in a fast-paced retail environment.


About The Role

As Café Manager, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service, strong financial performance, and a motivated team. You’ll be a visible leader on-site, setting standards to create positive experiences for both customers and colleagues.


Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the daily operation of the self-service kiosk in the restaurant
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the team (including keyholding duties for opening/closing)
  • Handling cash operations (till reconciliation, sales counting, stock control, and regular stock takes)
  • Managing HR duties (rotas, absences, and performance reviews)
  • Delivering exceptional customer service to meet Compass and ASDA standards
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies
