Company Description
Indi-Go Rasoi Group is a vibrant Indian street food concept that first opened at Westfield Stratford in 2011 and has since become a popular destination for guests seeking authentic flavors in London. We carry six brands in total, and this role is specifically for our cafe’, although opportunities for growth within the whole group is possible based on results in the future.
Role Description
The Cafe Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in London, responsible for overseeing daily operations at a Cafe’ outlet based in the O2 in Greenwich. We have a full range of coffees, teas, matchas, sandwiches, bakery, and confectionery products on sale throughout the week.
Responsibilities:
- Fully managing all team planning and rotas.
- Managing all aspects of P and L and budget awareness and focus.
- Ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety.
- Delivering excellent customer service and handling guest feedback.
- Maintaining a welcoming atmosphere at all times.
- Monitoring sales performance and managing inventory and ordering.
- Controlling costs and supporting local marketing initiatives to drive footfall and revenue.
- Training and mentoring team members.
- Enforcing company policies.
- Ensuring smooth service during busy trading periods.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive guest experiences and resolving issues effectively.
- Excellent communication abilities for coordinating staff, interacting with guests, and working with management.
- Experience in food & beverage and food service operations, specifically those in the coffee sector, including knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
- Sales awareness and the ability to support revenue growth through upselling, promotion of menu items, and local marketing activities.
- Previous proven management experience in a cafe or patisserie, with a passion for all things coffee-related.
- Proven leadership and team management skills, including staff training and performance supervision.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in scheduling, stock control, and reporting.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and peak trading hours as required.
- Ideally, a Level 3 certification in Food Safety.
