Café Manager
We Make It Possible at Morrisons
From a Bradford market stall to the UK’s fifth largest supermarket, we’re proud to be the Yorkshire-based food retailer serving customers across the UK through nearly 500 stores, plus an online home delivery service.
Our business is primarily focused on food & grocery, with a unique approach: we source and process most of the fresh food we sell through our own manufacturing facilities.
About the Role
We’re looking for a high-performing Café Manager to help our business continue to thrive. Our Cafes serve hundreds of customers daily—whether they’re looking for a delicious breakfast, freshly brewed coffee, or cake. As Café Manager, you will:
- Lead and empower colleagues to ensure customers come first and deliver outstanding service
- Report to the Area Hospitality Manager while:
- Listening and acting on customer feedback
- Ensuring market-leading availability across the store
- Collaborating with other managers to drive a supportive, performance-focused department
- Managing scheduling, absence, performance, and talent conversations
- Providing staff training to ensure confidence and capability across departments
- Identifying and developing talent
- Building strong relationships with other operational teams
