Café Manager – Join Our High-Performance Team at Morrisons

We Make Morrisons…

From a Bradford market stall to the UK’s fifth largest supermarket, we are proud to be the Yorkshire food retailer serving customers across the UK over almost 500 stores—plus our online home delivery service.

Our business thrives on food & grocery, uniquely sourcing and processing most fresh produce ourselves through our manufacturing facilities.

About the Role

We’re looking for a high-performing Café Manager to help us grow and succeed. At the heart of every Morrisons store, our cafés serve hundreds of people daily, offering everything from hearty breakfasts to expertly brewed coffee and delicious cakes.

You’ll lead and empower your colleagues to put the customer first, delivering outstanding service. Reporting to the Area Hospitality Manager, your key responsibilities include:

  • Customer-focused feedback: Listen to and respond effectively to customer input.
  • Market-leading availability: Ensure seamless staff availability across the store.
  • Supportive, performance-driven leadership:
    • Lead cross-departmental collaboration with other managers.
    • Oversee departmental scheduling, absence management, performance, and talent conversations.
  • Team training & capability development:
    • Deliver training programs to build team competence and confidence.
    • Enable colleagues to work effectively across different areas of the café and grocery operation.
  • Talent identification & development: Invest in the growth of your team.
  • Stakeholder relationships: Build strong links with other store departments.
  • Operational excellence: Lead high-performance team work to meet all targets.
  • Store leadership: Take a proactive role in overall resource & store planning.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
