Cafe Manager

Café Manager – Morecambe

Location: Sainsbury's Morecambe Contract: Full-time (5 out of 7 days, 40 hours per week) Salary: £34,000 per annum

About the Role

A brand-new café opens in a fast-paced retail environment, offering a blank canvas for you to build something special.

At Taste Café, simple moments matter. Fresh coffee, homemade pastries, and freshly prepared food are the foundation. Here, a quick coffee becomes a catch-up, a bite to eat is savoured, and a space becomes truly welcoming.

From day one, you’ll set standards, build a team, and shape a café that feels local, dynamic, and worth visiting. This is your chance to leave your mark.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the day-to-day running of a brand-new café, ensuring smooth operations and seamless management
  • Recruit, train, and develop a team that delivers expert service while fostering enjoyment and pride in their work
  • Set and uphold high standards for food quality, coffee presentation, and overall café experience
  • Manage stock, performance metrics, and operational processes to drive efficiency
  • Create a warm and inviting environment from day one, focusing on guest experience and consistency
  • Embed health and safety standards as a core part of the café’s culture

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
