Café Manager – Leading Premium Matcha Café in Belgravia
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the launch of a premium matcha café in the heart of Belgraveia, launching this summer.
This wellness-focused concept, designed to become one of London’s leading matcha destinations, blends premium beverages, plant-based food, and exceptional customer service. Backed by founders with a significant global social media following and ambitious international growth plans, this role offers the chance to join a brand from day one and shape its future success.
The café will feature:
- A curated menu of premium matcha drinks and signature creations
- Freshly baked goods and healthy, plant-based snacks
- A stylish and welcoming environment
We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded, and hands-on Café Manager passionate about building something extraordinary from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operation of the café, ensuring exceptional service and operational standards
- Deliver outstanding customer experiences through warm, attentive, and consistent service
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop a small, high-performing team
- Prepare staff rotas and manage workforce planning
- Oversee stock control, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Monitor business performance, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability
- Ensure drinks and food are presented to the highest standards
- Build a positive team culture and act as a brand ambassador

The Ideal Candidate
Essential:
- Proven experience in managing a premium café, coffee shop, or hospitality venue
- Team leadership experience in recruiting, mentoring, and developing staff
- Strong organisational and commercial skills
- Experience with rota management, stock control, and daily operations
- Passion for hospitality and exceptional customer service
- Ability to thrive in a high-autonomy, entrepreneurial environment
Advantageous:
- Experience in premium hospitality, wellness, or lifestyle brands
- Pre-opening support for new businesses
- Familiarity with current wellness or café trends

What’s on Offer
- Salary: £38,000–£45,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Contract:
- Full-time (45 hours/week)
