Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is home to one of the most spectacular woodland gardens in England, offering visitors a breathtaking blend of natural beauty, wildlife, and exceptional hospitality. Our bustling café sits at the heart of the guest experience, and we are looking for a passionate, reliable leader to help us maintain our high standards of service.

The Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Supervisor to maintain exceptional customer service and presentation within the restaurant; to start as early as July 2026.

As the Café Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the seamless delivery of food and beverages, managing all aspects of customer service within the café. This hands-on position includes:

  • Supervising the team during your shift
  • Ensuring the efficient operation of the café, from setup to cleanup

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a comparable role is preferred
  • Must be hands-on and take ownership of day-to-day operations
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality presentation
  • Excellent time-management skills, able to work independently or as part of a small team
  • Reliable, punctual, and flexible approach to working hours (including weekends)
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and presentation of all dining spaces
  • Physically capable of manual tasks, including prolonged standing, lifting, bending, and carrying
  • Own transport is advantageous due to the location
  • Must promptly report any maintenance issues or inventory shortages to management
  • Strict adherence to Food Safety & Health & Safety processes
  • Provide polite, professional interactions with guests and respond efficiently and courteously to requests

Skills We Love
