Team Member — Café Role
About the Role
Tea is brewing. Café doors are opening. The day is about to start, and so are our café team members. They’re the talented people making every day a little better for our customers. Now, you can join them.
As a Team Member in our café, you're part of everything: cooking, chatting with customers, and making a real impact. Dedicated to great service, you’ll ensure every dish you prepare lives up to the menu’s promise and meets all safety standards. You’ll also maintain the café’s tidiness, from kitchen equipment to customer tables.
This is a lively role, full of everyday challenges—but that’s also part of what makes it exciting! You can enjoy:

We operate within set availability windows, which are shown in the table. Schedule builds will be available weekly using these windows. 3 weeks’ notice will be given for exact shifts. We support flexibility, so if your availability aligns closely with ours, we still welcome your application.

Key Responsibilities
While specific tasks depend on business needs, your role will include:
- Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and organised
- Serving customers efficiently and with care
- Following food safety and hygiene regulations, updating daily records
- Applying FIFO (First In, First Out) for fresh stock management
- Handling deliveries and storing food safely
- Adhering to Policy and Procedures
- Preparing and serving food according to menu standards
- Ensuring standards are met and all food products are available
- Being a menu specialist and serving food exactly as intended
- Resolving complaints and relaying information to Café Manager
- Staying updated on business communications and initiatives
- Clearing and sanitising tables

Requirements
Must Have
- A commitment to hospitality and exceptional customer service
- Knowledge of Health and Safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment
