As part of our policy, we guarantee 8 hours of work per week to all new colleagues.

Responsibilities
The following represent the core responsibilities of the role, though duties may evolve based on business needs:
- Kitchen & Hygiene Compliance:
- Keep all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces spotless and hygienic.
- Follow strict food safety and hygiene regulations, including daily record-keeping.

Customer Engagement & Service:
- Serve customers with speed, efficiency, and care.
- Master our café’s menu and ensure dishes are prepared and served as intended.
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns, while escalating information to the Café Manager.

Stock & Operations:
- Follow FIFO (first-in, first-out) stock rotation to ensure freshness.
- Accept deliveries and manage food storage safely and efficiently.
- Monitor stock levels to maintain menu availability and standards.

Sanitation & Environment:
- Tidy and sanitise kitchen spaces, utensils, and tables.
- Maintain high cleanliness standards across all customer-facing areas.

Communication & Adaptation:
- Stay updated on new initiatives and business communications.
- Work confidently and proactively to improve processes while maintaining cleanliness and organisation.
Requirements
You’ll need to bring the following to the role:

Operational Skills:
- Commitment to hospitality and delivering outstanding customer service.
- Understanding of health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organised work environment.

- Comfortable and motivated in a team environment.
