The important stuff

  • Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonuses
  • Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
  • Location: Brindley Ford, Stoke On Trent

What you'll be doing

Role

As a Service and Calibration Engineer, you will be the go-to expert for ensuring our clients' equipment is calibrated to perfection and serviced to the highest standards. Your role will include:

  • Precision Calibration: Perform accurate calibration of a wide range of instruments, ensuring they meet industry standards and client specifications.
  • On-Site Service: Travel to client locations to service and maintain their equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and reliably.
  • Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve any technical issues, providing expert advice and support to clients.
  • Electrical/Mechanical Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed service records, calibration certificates, and reports, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
  • Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with clients by delivering exceptional service and technical expertise.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Service and Calibration Engineer or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong understanding of calibration processes and industry standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Relevant technical qualifications or certifications are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
