Your Role

Our busy contact centre seeks an enthusiastic Helpdesk Operator on a part-time basis (Monday to Friday, 1pm–6pm, 25 hours per week). Under close supervision, you’ll handle incoming calls efficiently, apply company policies, and address client needs.

Core Responsibilities and Duties

  • Act as the initial customer contact with the ability to:
    • Record all relevant details of customer requests accurately and thoroughly
    • Provide accurate, relevant responses and information
  • Coordinate and utilise the supply chain for customer service requests, including:
    • Assigning work orders
    • Progressing and chasing resolution internally
  • Adhere to a [first-call resolution plan] to address routed queries and complaints effectively
  • Maintain comprehensive data records, ensuring clarity and timeliness
  • Deliver exceptional customer service that exceeds expectations, focusing on timely solutions
  • Take personal ownership for performance improvement while fostering a spirit of continuous growth
  • Compliance with and promotion of KBR’s Zero Harm policy, ensuring safety at all times

Qualifications

Essential:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English
  • Must hold, have held, or be eligible to apply for security clearance
